Only took me an hour to put it together and that was done all by myself with four kids running around screaming and distracting me! I was awed and impressed as soon as I opened the boxes and saw the peices. Beautiful rich color, professionally done finish, and high quality wood that made it scream that it should have been way more than it cost. All good things if you ask me! I'd definitely recommend this product! Plus, I didn't know this until I received it, but you can buy two and stack them as twin over twin bunks! Instructions for doing that are included with your beds! 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Canwood Base Camp Twin Bed, Espresso (Kitchen) Great color - matched the other espresso furniture we already had. Love that later if we choose to, we can order another and they turn it into a bunk bed. Good quality for a kids room and a good price. The only thing I didn't like is that there is a super large sticker that says "do not remove" and has all these warnings about it being on the top if it's part of a bunk bed (no horseplay, cautions of falling, etc.). It's really big - like 50% of the larger wood part on the headboard. And it's bright white so it sticks out like a sore thumb. I tried peeling it off but they stuck it on good so that you can't. I'll have to try Goo Gone or something. For now, it's just hidden by the pillows when the bed is made. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Canwood Base Camp Twin Bed, Natural (Kitchen) Bought this bed for my 4 year old. For the most part it is well constructed and very sturdy when completed. The instructions were pretty easy to follow, which is sometimes an issue with product produced in Asia. On the negative side, I did have to take about a 1/4" off of one of the legs to get the holes to line up. In the end it was still level, which means that the finishing of the leg's length was not completed... The giant label on the head-board is annoying. Takes some effort to remove. You need goo-b-gone and have to be careful not to damage the finish. I understand the need for safety labeling for bunk-beds (even though I didn't purchase a bunk-bed), but a 22"x3" label right in the middle of the headboard is silly. |
