Besides the beautiful box design that seems to bring back memories just by looking at it. It does so much that Baby books doesn't. - Since it's a deck of cards it can be easily passed out to friends & family at a party, or sent to the uncle that lives far away who can't give his wishes in person. - The memory box is large enough to hold all the certificates, letters and other memorabilia that I may want to keep for my child. - what I most love about this product are the "tips" cards, that guides us through the process of having a baby, and shows us all sorts of creative ways to keep our memories and emotions so my baby can one day share them. My son's baby book is half filled, stuffed with random notes and unorganized. I have tried many times to find a certain page to jot down information in it and I seem to never finish my original task. I either can't find what I am looking for or I am interrupted by little ones needing me. My new Memory Box is simple to navigate, well organized and gives me the freedom to really make it original. Compared to the book style I felt like it was all fill in the blank and no room to expand. There are also parts of the book that I did not experience (birth annoucements or newspaper clippings) and I can't rip the pages out! With the Memory Box I can easily omit things that do not pertain to my experience or add on to memories that need more documentation. The beautiful cards are so "user (mom or dad) friendly." It is easy to just jot down cute little sayings, observations and actions on a card without getting out the big baby book, search for the special pen and find the right page to use. These cards are thoughtfully catagorized, and large enough to include as much detail as one needs (including a place on back for a photo!)Every new mom I know will be getting one of these from me. |
